Sam Hulick is an award-winning composer for video games and digital media. He is most known for his work alongside Jack Wall on the scores for Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. Pursuing a career in the game industry since 2003, he landed his big break in 2007 when Jack hired him to lend a hand in writing the music to Mass Effect, a soundtrack that was critically acclaimed for its inventive blending of analog synths and symphonic orchestra. Two years later, Jack brought Sam on board again to contribute his talents to the score for the highly anticipated sequel, Mass Effect 2. Together, along with David Kates and Jimmy Hinson, the four composers crafted a suitably darker and more cinematic musical experience to complement the heavier subject matter contained in the sequel.

Sam is also in the process of working on a new age/neoclassical album called Dreams & Puzzles which has no current official release date. Outside of music, Sam has a wide variety of interests including playing video games (of course), photography, psychology, high-tech gadgets, programming, fine art, and foreign languages.
